    Hi Franklin:

I just came across this show from a little while back and thought I’d chime in. I totally agree that it’s a good idea to check in with folks from time to time just to say hi. Years ago, a mentor taught me that a call will often result in a paid assignment. One of the best ways I’ve found to stay in touch with people is to send a newsletter. Many of my contacts from over the years are on my list. After I send one, people often send replies for consulting or other work.

    Thanks!

    Andrew
